For lawn care and landscaping companies

Google reviews for lawn care and landscaping companies

Lawn care is bought once and renewed on autopilot — or quietly not renewed. Reviews win the first sale. The monthly campaign is what keeps the second one from disappearing.

  • Review request after every job, in your voice
  • Google Business Profile managed every month
  • A real reply to every review
  • Monthly win-back campaign to dropped-off customers

Why it matters here

What's different about lawn care and landscaping companies

Every trade loses customers a different way. Here's how yours does it.

Recurring revenue hides its own leaks.

Nobody calls to cancel a lawn contract. They just do not sign up again in March. By the time you notice the route is thin, the season is already gone. Reaching that list every month is the fix.

Your work is visible from the street and never credited.

You produce the most publicly visible result of any trade on this list, and almost none of it turns into a review. The customer looks at it every single day and still never says anything where it counts.

Spring is decided in February.

Homeowners line up lawn service before the snow is off the ground. If your review count is where it was last fall when they search, you already lost that route. Building in the off season is the game.

47%
of consumers won't use a business with fewer than 20 reviews.
74%
only look at reviews written in the last three months. Old reviews stop counting.
89%
expect the owner to reply. 80% are more likely to buy from a business that replies to every review.

Questions

Lawn Care-specific questions

Should we ask weekly mowing customers for reviews?
Not weekly, obviously. We ask once early in the season when the difference is most visible, and again after anything bigger — cleanups, installs, aeration. Over-asking your own recurring customers is a fast way to annoy them into leaving.
What does the monthly campaign look like across a season?
It follows the calendar, because your customers do. Pre-season signup in late winter, aeration and overseeding in fall, cleanups, snow if you run it. Written to read like a note from you, not a blast.
We also do hardscape and design. Different play?
Same profile, different prompt. Hardscape reviews with photos are extremely persuasive and worth far more per review than mowing. We ask for those specifically and get them onto the profile.

We also work with Pest Control · Roofing · Painters · Plumbing · Gyms & Studios · all 13 industries →.
