For electrical contractors

Google reviews for electrical contractors

Half your calls are “the power is out in half the house” and half are “I need a panel and a charger.” One is decided in minutes, the other over weeks. Reviews are the only thing that wins both.

  • Review request after every job, in your voice
  • Google Business Profile managed every month
  • A real reply to every review
  • Monthly win-back campaign to dropped-off customers

Why it matters here

What's different about electrical contractors

Every trade loses customers a different way. Here's how yours does it.

Licensed trades get judged on trust, not rate.

Nobody comparison-shops an electrician on hourly price. They are trying to work out who is licensed, who shows up when they say they will, and who is not going to burn the house down. Review volume is the shortcut every one of them uses.

Panel and EV work is a research purchase.

A service upgrade or charger install is planned, googled, and read-every-review decided, at a four-figure ticket. Recent reviews that name that specific work are what pull those jobs in.

You get called once and then forgotten.

The homeowner who needed one outlet moved this year needs a panel in three. Staying in front of that list monthly costs you nothing and books the cheapest work you will ever do.

47%
of consumers won't use a business with fewer than 20 reviews.
74%
only look at reviews written in the last three months. Old reviews stop counting.
89%
expect the owner to reply. 80% are more likely to buy from a business that replies to every review.

Questions

Electrical-specific questions

Most of our work is subcontract for builders. Does this apply?
Yes — a review is a referral, written down. Builder relationships bring the work, but when a builder or a homeowner checks you out, your profile is the handshake. And if you ever want to shift toward direct residential, this is the channel that does it.
Can you get reviews to mention specific services?
That is most of the value. A pile of “great job!” reviews does very little. Reviews that name the panel upgrade, the charger, the generator hookup feed Google relevance signals and answer the next customer's exact question at the same time.
How much do profile categories actually matter here?
A lot, and most electricians have them wrong. Primary category, secondary categories, and the services list are among the few relevance levers you fully control. Fixing them is usually week one.
